The Fabulous Hogan Four

I love to do all black and white shoots so I was thrilled when Leslie said she wanted black and white Christmas photos of her four fabulous kids. Ranging from age 7 to 15, the Hogan family knocked it out of the park with genuine smiles and a lot of laughs during their appointment. Such a fun family that I hope to see lots more of in the future!

Stylish Sisters

I've done so much fun work with Claire and Grace in the past that it was only natural that they would come back for a "sister shoot." Mom wanted a photograph of both girls to complete her new wall arrangement of individual portraits which I thought was a great idea. I enjoyed capturing the personalities of both girls at once - Claire has that blond, sweet, girl-next-door vibe while Grace has a more high glam, edgy look. However, when they joked and giggled together, there was no mistaking they were sisters!

Westport Road Never Looked So Pretty

Julie is a fabulous high school senior who came back for her second outdoor photo shoot last week. We wanted to capture both summer and fall looks for her senior portraits and we had already done some photos in the summer with cute summer dresses...let me refresh your memories, dear blog readers...

Now, onto the fall looks. I'm going to blow my cover here and admit that I watch Gossip Girl - doesn't this outfit look like something Serena would rock at a party in the East Village? So cute - I just loved the animal print top with the urban setting in Westport.

Another great thing about fall and winter photos is the texture you can incorporate into your photos with scarves, knits and jackets. Look how great Julie looks with her blue eyes, blond hair and a nubby, colorful scarf. Brilliant!

Custom Holiday Cards

Have you noticed that Jingle Bell Rock has already appeared in numerous TV commercials? I guess that means it's not too early to begin thinking about the upcoming holiday season!

If you have been into see me in 2009, I'm happy to create custom holiday cards for you. I have a zillion different gorgeous designs which you can find on my web site under the "Holiday Cards" button. If there is a design that you would like to see with your photos, just let me know and I will create a sample.

The press printed cards come in boxes of 25. The 4" x 5.5" press printed cards also include envelopes. The slim line cards come in boxes of 25 and the 4" x 8" slim line cards are printed on professional photo paper and include envelopes. The holiday note cards come in boxes of 25 and the 5" x 7" holiday note cards are printed on professional photo paper and include envelopes.

As an alternative, I also sell high resolution digital files of any images from your photo shoot if you like to make your own Christmas cards. If you like to insert a photo in your holiday cards, I offer two print sizes in bulk quantities with any photo from your 2009 photo shoot: 4x6 prints and 3.5x5 prints. The Sprague Six

It's hard to believe that it was 6 months ago that I photographed Baby Jack for his newborn pictures! Time flies when the economy is spiraling out of control, I guess. Jack and his three gorgeous older siblings were back in front of the camera for some holiday photos last weekend. Courtney, the relaxed mama of this posse, also wanted a group shot for their Christmas card which I was happy to shoot. We also goofed around in the backyard for awhile, taking individual portraits and just being silly!

Maya Turns Two

Oh to be two years old! Maya came for her two year portraits this week and what a little cutie pie. Dressed in pink, we did lots of color, color and more color. Lots of encouragement from Mom and Dad, some looks at my puppy dog, and a few Smarties got the smiles rolling!

I did some portraits of John the other day in my studio and am amazed at how much he looks like Sean Connery. Isn't it unfair how men can make a few signs of age look good? No one has ever said my wrinkles look distinguished....hhmmpppffff...

Froeschl Family Photos

Whew! It's been a busy month and now I'm back on the blog to share some of the photos from my October photo shoots. Lori and her family met me at Loose Park for a autumn family photo amongst the changing leaves. Her kids were so easy to work with and even the family dog was well behaved. I'm always well behaved when people wave treat bags at me too :)

Jack and Max Are Back!

Two of my best dressed little fellas came to see me again last weekend at Mill Creek Park: Jack and Max. You may remember Max as the gorgeous, smiley baby on my web site and Jack as the handsome, blue eyed older brother. As always, they were sharply dressed in their brown corduroy jackets and matching hats. Please note the hilarious way that Jack got Max to stay put in the last photo below - a brotherly pinch to the neck that was captured on film!

Quint's First Photo Shoot

Sylvie brought baby Quint to the studio last week for his very first photo shoot. He was in prime form for the camera and gave us so many cute expressions. I think he even did the Zoolander face once. Check out Quint and his hot mama!

The Zehr Boys

Lori's little fellas, Carter and Taylor, are some of my very favorite little boys. Whenever I'm around them, I can't stop laughing at their sweet kiddo expressions. Such smiles on both of them...in fact, I was so enamoured with them I had to give them lots and lots of candy despite a McDonalds lunch date they had after their photo shoot! Julie's Senior Pictures

Julie is another one of my gorgeous high school seniors who was a joy to work with this summer. Pretty AND nice - what a good combo. She also brought along a dramatic bib necklace which looked straight out of the pages of Vogue and photographed very well. Julie made my job downright easy as we spent time together at the studio and wandered through Kauffman Gardens looking for photogenic spots. Take a peek at her session!
