Search for Senior Photo Ambassadors

Do you know any high school juniors who may be interested in a special promotion from Christina Lundeen Photography for their senior photos?

This year, I am looking to expand my photography studio services to senior photos. I need three high school juniors to photograph in the summer of 2009 and act as my photography ambassadors in their schools for the 2009/2010 school year.

In exchange for their time, I am willing to waive the portrait sitting fee of $150 and give you 100 wallet photos as well as an 8x10 and two 5x7 prints free! The sitting includes an indoor and outdoor shoot. Also, I will offer 10% off any additional prints or products ordered from the senior photo shoot.

Cash rewards can also be obtained by referring friends to Christina Lundeen Photography. You must agree to the following terms to participate:

• The photo shoot must occur by August 31, 2009


• The photography ambassador must hand out the wallet photos as well as twenty $30 gift cards to friends at school to provide advertising for Christina Lundeen Photography


• The wallet photos will have a sticker on the back offering the bearer 100 free wallets with any senior portrait booking.


• For each card presented to Christina Lundeen Photography, the photography ambassador will receive $30 cash; for five to nine cards, $50 each; for 10 redeemed cards, you get a $100 bonus!


• To obtain the 10% discount on prints and products from your photo shoot, orders must be placed by September 30, 2009


• The senior photograph program cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts or specials offered by Christina Lundeen Photography


• I require the photo ambassador's signature as well as a parent's signature on my senior agreement form to ensure everyone fully understands the program, fees and deadlines.

Fun Photos with the Easter Bunny

Put on your best Easter dress and meet me at Eber Jeeber! I'm excited to announce that I will be taking pictures at Eber Jeeber on Friday, April 3rd with the Easter Bunny. In addition, participating Hawthorne Plaza merchants will be hosting a new version of the Easter Egg Hunt from 10AM to 5PM. Children can go from store to store and receive plastic eggs filled with candy for themselves, and coupons for the parents. More eggs will be hanging from trees and bushes. One egg from each store, the Golden Egg, will contain a gift certificate or prize from that store.

Spencer Family Photos

It was a big birthday for Miss Camille - one year old and looking just as cute as she did in her six month photos! Andy and Erin invited me to their home to photograph the big bday as well as snap some photos of proud big brother, Luke. For Luke, it was all Thomas the Train which Erin said captured Luke's age three photos perfectly. Even the pup got in on the action...

From NYC to KC

Isn't it funny what a small world it is sometimes? I met a new client, Ippei, when he contacted me about professional photographs. His alma mater, Soka University in sunny southern California, was looking for photos of successful graduates for their web site and Ippei was a prime candidate. We met on a beautiful, warm winter day outside of his work building and took lots of great photos. While I took his photograph, we chatted away and it turns out we were nearly neighbors in New York City! We both recently lived in Manhattan - Ippei on the Upper West Side and myself on the Upper East Side. How's that for cool!

A Lesson in How To Be Cute When You Are Expecting

My newest client, Emily, came to me last week for a maternity photography session. Aglow in that special way that only an expectant woman can be, Emily photographed beautifully and we had a great time during the session. Both Emily and her husband, Victor, are yoga instructors and we had some fun with yoga poses as well as more traditional portraits.
