Watch Out, Hollywood!

Look out Hollywood - you're about to be hit with two of the cutest Midwest girls ever! Lauren and Ariel were looking for photographs for their acting portfolio and we had a great session in the West Bottoms. Deterred by rain at the first session, we made good on our second attempt to photograph these gorgeous twins. With their bubbly and fun personalities, I can definitely see them rocking their own sitcom soon. Remember the little people (like your photographer) when you become big stars!

A Girl and Her Puppy

If this doesn't make you smile on a Thursday afternoon, I'm not sure what will. A girl and her puppy enjoying a day at the park. It's as simple as that.

Senior Model: Katie

Katie is one of my gorgeous senior models this year! She's set to graduate from Saint Thomas Aquinas in 2011 and was such an easy going girl to work with. We braved an extremely hot summer day to get these images. From the Plaza...to Swope Park...to the Nelson Atkins...to the studio...oh and don't forget the quick stop at Planet Sub and the local bakery for some quick lunch. Meet Katie!

Little Photographer

Kathryn was celebrating her 5th birthday so her mom brought her into the studio for her annual portraits. Not only was she adorable during the session, but her mom told me she held her very own photo shoot once she got home. Camera in hand, she snapped pics of her mom using shower curtains and other fabrics as her backgrounds. Just one more reason to love this little budding photographer!
