Senior Girls: Kelsey

Kelsey had a fantastic idea to shoot her senior portraits at Case Park near downtown Kansas City. Sweeping views of the river and West Bottoms translated to amazing scenery which only accentuated how great Kelsey looked. I love when my senior clients have fab ideas for the look and feel of their photos and I get to experience a new location...

What To Wear: Family Edition

Clients are always asking me for recommendations on what to wear for their photo shoot. I now have the PERFECT family to show them! Deanne did a stellar job of dressing her family using all the key points I usually tell people: vibrant color, fab accessories and interesting texture. She also did an awesome job of bringing everyone together without being too "matchy-matchy." Casual but completely, utterly, well thought through. Bravo!!!

Senior Guys: Jacob and Kevin

Jacob and Kevin have been friends for ages and ages and ages. So when Jacob's mom called about senior pictures, she asked if the guys could do their shoot at the same time. Of course! It's always a great idea to do your photo shoot with a friend. Friends always know the right things to say to coax a genuine smile or give advice on the right thing to wear. These easy going guys were no exception - making each other laugh and talking about upcoming parties which made my job super easy...

Love is in the Air

Well, folks, it's official. Love is in the air at Christina Lundeen Photography. I've had a rush of adorable couples meet me at locations around the city...some on their way to the altar, some celebrating a long time partnership and some just looking for an excuse to give their sweetie a big sloppy kiss in public!

Senior Girls: Amanda

I met Amanda at the Plaza last week for her senior pics. A cross country runner, Amanda looked gorgeous in her bold, blue dress as we strolled outside Halls and captured some fantastic images. I must be in a blue period right now as I am so fond of this color blue against fair skin!

Rain Delay

On the day of our first scheduled appointment, the wind was blowing a million miles per hour and it was raining. Not especially helpful for an outdoor photo shoot. Our second try was much better and Jessica and I tromped around the West Bottoms with just a light breeze to contend with. I learned that Jessica is running a marathon soon AND that she has a megawatt smile that will light up the camera. I'm just gaga over the pictures in the blue dress with the blue background. Gorgeous, girl!

Senior Girls: Ellen

Ellen showed up to her senior portrait appointment with lots of fun stuff: a boat load of clothes, a hilarious mom and even her favorite cousin. We shuffled through sandals, sequin tank tops, and dark jeans to find some hot outfits and proceeded to capture a lot of laughs in front of the camera. Check out pretty Miss Ellen!

Erik and Norah

I had two cutie pies come visit me last week at the studio. Both had adorable baby features and a host of fun outfits. Norah's bloomers made me smile as did her fabulous leg warmers. Any other children of the 80s think that leg warmers are making a comeback?! And the Iowa farm girl in me loved Erik's overalls - complete with a little turtle peeking out of the pocket.

Saturday Night Mama

It's late on a Saturday night...and I'm working! Because I'm getting sleepy, I'm keeping it brief. There is really just one simple thing to say about Melissa's maternity photo shoot...gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!

2011 Senior Model Search!

The 2011 senior model search is on! The Christina Lundeen Photography senior models are an exclusive group of senior girls and guys who represent my studio. My senior models love to be photographed and are willing to show their senior photos with friends and family. They want unique senior photos and know Christina Lundeen Photography can deliver the images they love!

I am looking for high school students in the Kansas City metro area who will graduate in the spring of 2011. The senior models will be photographed in May and June of 2010 plus they will receive an additional mini session in late summer or fall. The senior models will act as my photography ambassadors in their school for the 2010/2011 school year.

Christina Lundeen Photography senior models receive the following:

· A Deluxe Session ($190 value) This session includes a two hour photo shoot in the studio and unlimited outdoor locations of your choosing (city streets, a park, etc.) Three indoor outfits and three outdoor outfits are included in this package. You will also receive a mini session in the late summer or fall at one outdoor location.

· A Square Photo Album ($110 value) This includes all the images from your photo shoot and is a great way to show all your friends the images from your session.

· 50 Referral Cards ($99 value) These cards are specially designed for each senior model. If your friends book a session with Christina Lundeen Photography and bring in the card, they receive free wallet photos.

· Four Facebook Photos ($100 value) Show your four favorite images to the world with these web resolution Facebook photos!

Cash rewards can also be obtained by referring friends to Christina Lundeen Photography. For each referral card presented to Christina Lundeen Photography, the senior model will receive $30 cash; for five to nine cards, $50 each; for 10 redeemed cards, you get a $100 bonus!

You must agree to the following terms to be a 2011 senior model:

· The photo shoot must occur by June 30, 2010

· A $200 deposit is required to participate. This deposit will be put toward prints and products purchased from the senior model photo shoots

· The model must hand out the 50 referral cards to friends at school to provide advertising for Christina Lundeen Photography

· Two weeks after selection as a 2011 senior model, a list of 50 friends including name, email address and mailing address is due.

· The 2011 senior model program cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts or specials offered by Christina Lundeen Photography

I require the model's signature as well as a parent's signature on my senior agreement form to ensure everyone fully understands the program, fees and deadlines. I only select a few senior models so call or email now to find out more details!

Mother's Day and Father's Day Quote Albums

Are you looking for a Mother's Day or Father's Day gift that will knock the socks off your sweetie? Look no further! Christina Lundeen Photography is offering custom designed quote albums for Mom or Dad. Using quotes from your children plus the photographs from your photo shoot, I'll create a one-of-a-kind photo album.

I will send you an email questionnaire that your child will complete (help from Mom or Dad is fine too!) Using the answers you provide on the questionnaire, I'll create your quote album.

The 20 page, hardcover albums are 7 inch square and have photographic paper pages. The albums are available for $199. Mother's Day Quote Albums must be ordered by April 11th and Father's Day Quote Albums must be ordered by May 17th.
