Product of the Month: Large Prints


One of the most common questions I get from my clients is "How do I decorate my home with the photos from my photo shoot?" Christina Lundeen Photography gives you so many fun and different ways to use your photos! I really like wall collages that combine your photographs on a single wall. I suggest using a large scale photograph from Christina Lundeen Photography to anchor your arrangement. The 20x24 prints and 16x20 prints work especially well. A large photo provides a focal point for your arrangement and ensures the display is not "lost" on a large wall. Combine your large photograph with medium sized prints such as 11x14 and 8x10 for variety. A sample of this is show above.

Large prints can also be displayed singularly in your home. A stairway landing, a foyer or a small breakfast nook are great places to display a large photograph.

The divine being in me recognizes the divine beings in these beautiful ladies from Darling Yoga! I had the opportunity to photograph the Darling Yoga teachers on Sunday afternoon. We wanted to do headshots for each teacher and also wanted to capture each instructor doing a full on yoga pose. I'll post the headshots shortly but I had so much fun taking these asana photos that I wanted to get them up first. Familiar Face

I get to see this handsome face every morning over my oatmeal and most of you will recognize my hubby, Bruce, as well. This photo assignment was not a social one as you might suspect but strictly work related - new headshots for his hotshot software company. Katie came down to KC on her sled from the Great White North. By sled, I mean her parent's SUV and by Great White North, I mean Minneapolis. She flashed those brown eyes at me and I was hooked! I knew I had to have her model for me in preparation for my Valentine's Day promotion. I always love those year-end "Best of" lists...Best Dressed of 2009, Best Couples of 2009, Best Celebrity Trip to Rehab in 2009. You get the drift. Party Arty - Through the Lens

Bruce and I are "party ambassadors" for the Young Friends of Art 2010 Party Arty. It's our job to spread the word about how much fun we had last year and get friends to join us at the party this year.

The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art and the Young Friends of Art will host their annual fundraiser, Party Arty, on January 23rd at 8:00 p.m. in the world-renowned Bloch Building.

Party Arty - Through the Lens will be a presentation of the Bloch Building in a whole new light. More than 1000 of Kansas City’s young professionals will enjoy a fashion show, live DJ’s, hor d’oeuvres from Kansas City’s hottest restaurants and six full service bars amidst the Nelson’s world class art collection while the Bloch Building is revealed through vibrant color and video imagery. Storyboards are a collage of sorts and use multiple photos in a single print. Typical sizes are 8x10 and 11x14 but custom sizes are also available. Holiday Presents Revealed!

OK, this blog post is a long time in the making! Four siblings and their partners decided to make this awesome wall collage for their mom for Christmas. We used individual, 10" square photos to create a unique display for a large family room wall. It was a total surprise so I've held off on posting any photos from their photo shoots until now! Ten grandkids ranging in age from toddler to teen made this such a gorgeous project...I had a blast working with everyone and creating this amazing gift...

Peggy brought in her two superstar kids before the holidays and I just love how this photo with the striped shirts turned out. Sometimes the best photos come when a big sister is harassing her younger brother and having fun doing it!
